Invited Lecturer Project

　Based on the international exchange agreement established with Mahidol University, Thailand in 2001, we invited two faculty members from that university’s Department of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, and held a special lecture on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

　The lectures on that day were entitled “The Role of Nursing Professionals in Pediatric Critical Care” and “Prevalence and Predictors of Metabolic Syndrome in HIV-Positive People in Thailand”, and also incorporated discussion about the current state of health care in Thailand.

　Participants’ comments included the observations that it was a very valuable opportunity for them since they do not have many chances to listen to overseas teachers, and that they would like to make use of the contents of the lectures in the future.
